Privacy policy

Last updated: 5 August 2026

enlightIn ("we", "us") operates this website, enlightin.ai. This policy explains what information we collect through the website and how we handle it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Demo requests. If you ask for a demo, we collect what you type into the form: your name, company, email address, and any message you include.

Technical logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.

That is the full list. The site does not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or cookies.

How we use it

We use demo-request details for one purpose: to reply to you and arrange the conversation you asked for. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Who else sees it

Demo requests are delivered to us by email and handled by the small enlightIn team. Our website hosting provider processes technical logs as part of operating the service. We do not otherwise disclose your information unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep demo-request emails for as long as the conversation stays relevant, then delete them. Server logs are kept for the short periods our hosting provider uses by default.

Security

Demo requests travel over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We limit access to the inboxes that receive them.

Access, correction, and complaints

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hamish@enlightin.ai. If you believe we have mishandled your information and we cannot resolve your concern, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
